As the camera images the open book pages, 3 lasers simultaneously scan and record the natural curvature of the open pages and immediately the CZUR software can successfully implement page flattening.
When pages are stiff and will not lie open the provision of "finger clots" allows the user to hold down left and right pages while the software recognizes the finger clot pattern and automatically removes the pattern from the saved image.
