Description:

SIKO SGx family of wire actuators are universally applicable designs, with precise and safe cable guidance systems, robust Aluminium housing and strong mounting flange.
Three measuring systems provide a combination of convenience and high accuracy.
1) SGP series with Potentiometer,
2) SGI series with Incremental Encoder,
3) SGW series with Absolute Encoder,
Measuring range is 250mm to 6000mm.

Draw wire types:
S Stainless steel (6000mm max) (our standard design)
SK Plastic coated steel wire (4000mm max) ( 2 times more tear-resistant than steel cable)
P para-line non-conducting synthetic line (2750mm max) (4 times more tear resistant than steel cables)

SGP Series with potentiometer
Electrical: via terminal block in casing.
Potentiometer values: 1, 2, 5, 10K
< 500 mm Type 01: Resistance tolerance ±10%, linearity ±1% Max Load=2W @T = 40°Cmax
> 500 mm Type 02: Resistance tolerance ±5%, linearity ±0.25% Max Load=1W @T = 40°Cmax
> 500 mm Type 03: Resistance tolerance ±5%, linearity ±0.25% Max Load=2W @T = 40°Cmax
3 wire interconnection for poteniometer models.
Optional 4-20mA
4-20mA, 2 wire interface via an instrument transformer for models using 10K pot. Internal start and end point adjustments using trimming potentiometers. M=with / X=without.

Application recommendations :
• The wire should be pulled out straight to avoid wear (else use guide roller UR).
• The wire must not freely snap back into the housing.
• Recommend starting measurement with 5mm cable extension.
